  • Avocado Tree - Lyrical Poem Dance

Imagine how desperate and hungry Liberian Refugees were when they fled
the 1990 Liberian Civil War to Cote d’Ivoire. Homelessness and hunger

were everyday life issues. The Avocado Tree in my backyard bore an

with the help of head size avocados from my tree and even sell some at the
local market. Avocados were my manna. Thank God. This dance video tells
    my story.
